 News Flash Kashish singer wins New England Sa Re Ga Ma (Hindi version of American Idol in the New England area) - Shirish was declared winner in the Sa Re Ga Ma finals held on June 26, 2010 from over 100 contestants. Past Events June 12, 2011 Kashish was invited to perform at the National Race Amity Day conference at the Rose Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston. The honorary co-chairs for the conference were Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and the guest of honor was Vice-President Joe Biden. The conference gathered people from across the nation to forge a shared vision and experience of compassionate, authentic and propellant relationships across racial differences. February 13, 2011 Kashish performed in an elegant and successful fundraiser "Be My Valentine" for an engaging and enthusiastic audience. The fundraiser was organized by The Boston Pledge (www.thebostonpledge.org), a non-profit focussed on promoting entrepreneurship at the base of the pyramid. September 25, 2010 Kashish performed in a fund raiser at the Rogers Center for Arts in North Andover, for the non-profit "We for Hope" (www.weforhope.org). The organization's mission is to support, assist and strengthen the underprivileged individuals through project based fellowships and mentoring them with the help of other grass root level organizations. August 15, 2010 Kashish was invited to perform at the Esplanade in Boston for the India Day celebrations. A combination of patriotic and popular numbers were presented and were well received by the 13,000+ audience. The event was organized by IAGB (www.iagb.org). July 31, 2010 Kashish presented a concert of Immortal Melodies to a houseful and enthusiastic audience.
